We built CalkHub because we were frustrated with the state of calculator websites — cluttered with pop-ups, slow to load, and often inaccurate. Our philosophy is simple: every calculator should load fast, give correct results, and respect your privacy. All calculations run locally in your browser. How Our Calculators Work
Every calculator on CalkHub is built from scratch using verified mathematical formulas. We don't use generic plugins or approximate shortcuts — each tool implements the same formula used by scientists, doctors, and financial professionals.
For example, our BMI calculator uses the WHO-standard formula (weight in kg ÷ height in metres²) and displays results with the correct classification thresholds — and clearly states the known limitations of BMI as a metric. Our mortgage calculator uses the standard amortization formula, includes PMI estimation, and generates a full month-by-month payment schedule.
Each tool page explains the formula being used and how to interpret the result. We believe you should understand your answer, not just receive a number.
Our Accuracy Commitment
Formulas are sourced from peer-reviewed literature and recognised standards bodies. Health tools reference WHO guidelines; finance tools follow CFPB standards; measurement conversions comply with NIST SI units. Tools are reviewed and updated when standards change.
